Dr. Viola Morolo is the first Black female urologist to graduate from the University of Pretoria. With a focus on urological cancers and female urology conditions, she is pioneering patient-centred specialist care in South Africa.
Her journey began in the field of HIV/AIDS medicine, followed by occupational health, where she discovered a passion for urology through treating patients with complex urinary and reproductive conditions. Today, Dr. Morolo leads Africa Urology with a commitment to reshaping healthcare — making it more compassionate, accessible, and empowering for all.
